Ekisa EventLogger

The Ekisa EventLogger is a Windows service that monitors Ekisa ScreenLogger runtime events and logs them to a Microsoft SQL database. The following events are recorded in the database:

Ekisa Workstation recording start / stop and state change event

Ekisa Screen Server start-up / shutdown events

Ekisa Configurator start-up / shutdown events

The Ekisa EventLogger is a useful utility for system integrators and OEMs who may be interested in gathering screen recording statistics such as number of recordings per workstation per day / week / month, total time recorded, hours of operation, etc. It may also be used to flag recording error conditions to an external alarm system.

Please note that there is currently no GUI for the Ekisa Event Logger. As the Ekisa Event Logger is intended as a development tool for OEMs and system integrators, an OEM specific client application will need to read and process event data stored in the database, render statistical summaries and reports as appropriate, and purge historical database records no longer required.
